Simply Nutrition – A Twelve Bridges Business

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Shannan and Jason Daetwiler. They own Simply Nutrition, which is more than just another storefront – it’s a Twelve Bridges gem. It’s a mom-and-pop store with a heart for quality and community. I learned that they curate every product, ensuring that only the best items find a home in their store. What sets them apart is their dedication to meeting the unique needs of their customers. If you ask for a specific product, they don’t just order it blindly; they research it thoroughly and add it to their collection only if it meets their strict quality standards. In fact, Shannan has been known to take it a step further by sometimes personally visiting the manufacturers.

My first visit inside Simply Nutrition was impressive. The store, larger than it appears from the outside, houses an extensive range of products that cater to your holistic well-being. The staff’s knowledge about their inventory is remarkable, making it easy for customers to find exactly what they need. The staff also seems to know most people’s names. They offer a 20% discount on most supplements and body care all the time, as well as offering services like hair analysis and an inBody scale that the local student athletes love to use!

During my visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jason and Shannan and one of their great staff members Aubrie, who lives right here in Twelve Bridges (they even hire local). It’s clear that this store is more than just a business to them; it’s a labor of love. Their passion for their community shines through in every corner of Simply Nutrition.

One of the most exciting aspects of Simply Nutrition is their curated product selection. Whether you’re in need of vitamins, herbs, protein, teas, body care, or a wide range of Hydro Flasks, they have it all. What’s more, if you have allergies or sensitivities, you’ll find an array of allergy-free soaps and makeup that might fit your specific needs.

For those looking for a quick and healthy snack, Simply Nutrition has you covered with their grab-and-go snacks. These aren’t just your run-of-the-mill snacks; they are carefully chosen to ensure they meet the store’s high standards for quality and healthiness. And for those with a sweet tooth, you’ll be delighted to discover a selection of dye-free candies that are sure to satisfy your cravings without the artificial additives. I bought some dark chocolate; it didn’t last long in my pantry.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the Daetwilers, who have been part of the Twelve Bridges community for over a decade. They’re not just business owners; they are genuine people with a deep love for this community. Their two children were born and raised right here in Lincoln, making them a true part of the neighborhood.

What sets the Daetwilers apart is their unwavering support for local causes. Since opening Simply Nutrition in April 2016, they have generously donated numerous gift baskets to support local schools, football teams, little league teams, and various other community teams and initiatives. They are not just embedded in the Twelve Bridges community; they are the heartbeat of it. In a world of big-box stores and impersonal shopping experiences, Simply Nutrition stands out as a shining example of what a local mom-and-pop store can offer. It’s not just a place to shop; it’s a place to connect with your community, receive expert advice, and discover products that truly enhance your well-being. But don’t just take my word for it; check out the multitude of five-star reviews that Simply Nutrition has garnered. These reviews speak volumes about the exceptional service, quality products, and genuine care that Shannan, Jason, and their team provide to their customers.

So, the next time you find yourself parking near Simply Nutrition, I encourage you to step inside. You’ll be greeted by a knowledgeable staff, a vast selection of carefully curated products, and the heartwarming presence of the Daetwilers – a family that embodies the spirit of community and quality living.
